"Community Conversations" which focused on the subject of "generational poverty."
In this third Conversation Maine Governor Paul LePage
shared his personal story of growing up in a dysfunctional family and how he left home at age 11 to escape domestic violence. The
governor's story was a prime example of ow adult role models and community support can break the chain of poverty that often
seems inescapable.
