Ever wondered where artists get their ideas? Curious about how how to create collage and assemblage projects? Want to learn about eco-friendly art? During each episode of this show, Lori Krein demonstrates collage and assemblage techniques. She shares her thoughts about how to get inspired, explains what materials are needed to complete the projects, and demonstrates, step by step, what to do. Best part is, she never picks up a pencil!! Guests artists are also featured on some of the programs.

This program received a 2011 Western Alliance for Video Excellence (WAVE) Award for Instructional Programming, as well as the 2010 Producer of the Year Award from CreaTV San Jose. Lori Krein is a compelling host as she interviews artists, and talks viewers through every step of the creative process while demonstrating how to make collages and assemblage projects. She draws from 15 years experience as a corporate trainer, as well as over 10 years as a professional, teaching artist. She is engaging, knowledgeable, and fun to watch. She is unique in that viewers get a glimpse inside an artists mind. People are curious about how art is made, and Lori is a natural at drawing in the viewer. She offers tips and resources, and when interviewing other artists, she pulls out interesting information about their process. Target audience is women (and men!) of all ages who are interested in learning about collage, creativity, and inspiration. This is an instructional program. Production quality is high; most episodes were taped in the local access station's studio. Some episodes were shot on location.
