Detail For Show: Our Opinion Matters - COMEDY
Our Opinion Matters is a comedy show that is based upon a call-in show format with scripted calls on a particular subject. The hosts, Brock Buchannan and Dirk Van Damm give their opinions about each call. Each show is set up in three segments with made-up "commercials" between each segment. The "commercials" are spoofs of typical commercials seen on television. We also include a "Breaking News" segment, and "Tony Tiporelli's Tip of the Day."
We have completed twenty-two episodes so far and produce a new episode each month. We are in our first season and new to television, so technological improvements are seen from one episode to the next as we improve our craft. We believe the content is great, however, and worth sharing. The station manager and assistant manager of Great Falls TV in Auburn, Maine, suggested that we upload and share our shows.
Although set in Maine, we believe it will have a national appeal!
