On August 27, at what used to be the Brunswick Naval Air Station, the taxpayers of Maine picked up the tab for 48,000 gallons of jet fuel and other expenses so that the Navy could show off their F-18 fighters through their dare devil team called the "Blue Angels". Greeting the spectators as they entered the main gate was a group of peace activists and environmentalists who pointed out the damage being done to our environment, our treasury and our youth.
