Episode Description:

Karma Kitaj, PhD, CEO of Life Spring Coaching, interviews Birute Regine, PhD, a former psychologist clinician who turned her attention to the ways in which women leaders around the world lead with a combination of strength and show of vulnerability. This work culminated in a book called "Iron Butterflies: Women Transforming Themselves and the World." Her earlier book, "Soul at Work," was written in collaboration with her husband Roger Lewin, and foreshadowed Regine's passion for looking at humanitarian ways to function in the world of work. Women, she believes, because of their more developed people skills and curiosity about their own and others emotions, are well equipped to be models for a more humane way of leading.
