Episode Description:

Scott and Daphne head to Circle Beach in Guilford, Connecticut at 11:00 pm one cold May night and encounter horseshoe crabs galore. The horseshoe crabs’ breeding migration has begun! With the help of some very dedicated people Scott and Daphne learn why horseshoe crabs are so important and why so many people are working to protect them through tagging and educational programs. They’ve been around for millions of years and still they are exciting.
In a February 2010 flashback, Scott and Daphne head to Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts to talk to Doctors Lynne Chang, Stephen Redenti and Rachel Dutton to find out what exactly is living in Daphne’s mouth. They learn about bacteria (yes, our mouths are full of it) and the fact that it is not all bad and that there are other things living in our mouths that even Scott didn’t know about. Who knew there could be so much going on in your mouth?
