Episode Description:
On November third, a coalition of Veterans for Peace, Code Pink, U of M Farmington Students, Buddhist Monks and many others began a walk dedicated to bringing a message of Peace across Maine. The Veterans for Peace organized and sponsored the walk that started in Farmington and went through Skowhegan, Waterville, Bangor, Belfast, Rockland, Bath, Freeport and will end up in Portland on November 11th. A great diversity of of people give many reasons for their being on the walk, averaging more than 15 miles a day, come rain or come shine. Each community that the fluctuating group stops at every evening hosts the walkers and provides pot luck suppers.
A courageous effort for the many dedicated to Peace.
