Throughout the Blackstone Valley, one element is pervasive – trails. Join us as Along the Blackstone takes a look at many varieties of trails. Trails for horses - as we connect with the Bay State Trail Riders who work to open up the Southern New England Railroad Truck Line trail to horses and anyone else who wants to enjoy the great outdoors (Rose Zalinsky & Becky Kalagher). Trails for Fish, specifically anadromous fish who are trying to get back to their birthplace to spawn. We will be talking with RI-DEM Fish Biologist, Chris Powell, as we see how successful many fish ladders have become and the future of a fish ladder at the historic Slater Mill in Pawtucket,
