Episode Description:
Held at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds on July 27th and 28th. Food and grain farmers, producers and bakers gathered to exchange ideas on how to improve local awareness of the benefits of locally grown and produced grains and other food stuffs. Many workshops covering marketing, baking, processing grains were presented. Three types of outdoor ovens that you could build yourself were demonstrated. Presenters came from as nearby as Norridgewock and as far away as London, England. I learned a lot about the different grains just filming this two day event.
