Episode Description:

This episode begins with the amazing and funky clay-mation film“Munchers: A Fable” (American Dental Association, 1973) which warns against eating too many sweets, then the seemingly dull but very informative: “Cable Guardrails” (Federal Highway Administration & US Dept. of Transportation, 1994) which covers the hows and whys of our nations highway safeguards, “Four Seasons of Yellowstone” (National Archives and Records Administration, 1970) covers a year at Yellowstone park and all the beautiful nature and animals that live there, “Ulster” (National Security Council, 1971) a hard look at the strife that existed between Catholics and Protestants in Ireland, “Bike Safe. Bike Smart”(National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 2004), “If Mirrors Could Speak: Self-Image Film” (Sandler Institutional Films,1976) another 'social engineering' filmstrip shown in schools about the importance of self esteem and how others view your behavior, “The Cumberland Gap”(National Park Service, 1978) is a hugely entertaining, dramatic and historical re-enactment of the pioneers and their experiences crossing the Cumberland Gap and finally, “The Electric Eel” (Moody Institute of Science Educational Division, 1954) takes a classroom approach to examining the fascinating creature, the wondrous electric eel.
