On October 23rd, the 12th Annual ESTIA Conference was held at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast. The focus this year was on ethical and spiritual principles in regards to the ecology.Because there was much to be covered, I made this event into two parts. Part one will feature Sherri Mitchell of the Penobscot People and the Wabanaki Nation. She will speak of the spiritual and legal nature of land and water stewardship. She will be followed by Masanobu Ikemiya discussing therapeutic music and plants. Between the two, you will gain a new respect for water and kind words.
