Tails of the City is the show that talks about pets, working animals, and all the other critters that share our neighborhood with us. In this episode, we'll talk to Jen Brais, Assistant Coordinator of Public Health and Emergency Preparedness in Cambridge discusses how to care for your animals in extreme weather conditions as well as Brian Gover, Deputy Fire Chief and local Emergency Planning Committee Chairman in Cambridge talks about what to do with your animals if you have to evacuate the city in an emergency. Monica Collins from Ask Dog Lady has some comments about winter care for dogs, and the Humane Society of the United States shares information about Hurricane Irene's impact on pets and animals.
