Episode Description:

At the University of Maine in Augusta on March 22, over a hundred folks from all walks of life attended a forum about creating local economies for the State of Maine. This was part of Larry Dansinger's effort in the Changing Maine series. People discussed how local economies could be improved through local agriculture, permaculture, health care, wellness, re-cycling, communications, housing, home repair, the arts, labor unions and many more ways. Stacey Jacobsohn presented an interesting scenario that showed how time-sharing works. I taped the focus group discussing co-ops and unions. With a spirit of cooperation, all things are possible.
