Episode Description:

In our 103rd episode of Expedition New England Scott and Race head out on an ice fishing expedition to the northern most region of Vermont in search of the mysterious Northern Pike in February. Thanks to a tip from Captain Gilbert of Martins Bait and Tackle the team is given the rare opportunity to learn what it’s like to live out on Missisquoi Bay- a giant frozen estuary that spreads across into Canada and connects to Lake Champlain. The only problem- rain is pressing up against any chances to catch this iconic creature and Scott’s nerves are wearing thin as he worries about the strength of the ice. As if this isn’t enough action to keep you entertained- true to form Scott skips ahead to “now” and the unusual circumstances around the 2014 amphibian breeding migration.
