On May 21st, Rosali Paul, Georgetown, Maine and the American Friends Service Committee delivered a workshop devoted to offering alternatives to the military for high school students. Some might call it counter-recruiting. In recent years the military has been increasing their presence in Maine schools to entice young people into military service. Rosali presented a packet of materials to be offered to high school guidance and career offices. These same materials are offered to viewers of this show. Those in attendance related stories about what they were doing to balance the recruiter's message in their schools.
