Episode Description:

The Joint Standing Committee for the Judiciary met in Augusta, Maine to take testimony about a proposed law, LD 236, which will require law enforcement to obtain a warrant before using drones and associated technology to conduct surveillance (spy) on Maine citizens. About ten people testified. Five for, three against and two neither for nor against a law requiring warrants had information to bring to the committee. Among a majority of proponents and opponents, there was a concensus to adopt some sort of moratorium on drone use until the technology was further studied.
