Episode Description:

The topic of this episode, "Raising Your Visual IQ", refers to a specific method of using real time visual graphics in your business or other organization to enhance communication, leverage information and make sure everyone is operating according to the same game plan.

The approach involves creating large murals in real time with the participation of all meeting participants, in an iterative process that helps to clarify goals and strategies and create a common vision accessible to all. This methodology has achieved significant results among Silicon Valley companies as well as branches of the Federal Government.

There are two guests on the show. David Sibbet is the founder of The Grove Consultants International, which works with organizations such as Nike, Paypal, and the Federal Reserve to apply his visual methodology. David has been doing this type of consulting for over 40 years, and he’s written 3 books on the subject, "Visual Meetings", "Visual Teams" and "Visual Leaders".

Mei Lin Fung is the co-producer of Future Talk and Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Service Organization Excellence, where she uses David’s methods to do leadership training for her own clients, which include the US Defense Department, Microsoft China and Oklahoma State University.

Martin Wasserman hosts.
