Episode Description:

In this episode of Expedition New England Scott Tucker is compelled to investigate the mass dolphin strandings in Wellfleet, MA. Without anything more than a few news paper stories as clues Scott arrives at the Cape and is shocked to find dolphin carcasses scattered about the beaches . Equally amazing was a purely spontaneous interview with Kathy Zagzesbski the executive director of National Marine Life Museums in Buzzards bay who gives us a private tour of the rescue facility designed for Pilot Whales, Dolphins, and Turtles of all types. In addition to his adventure to the Cape this episode also launches the first few glimpses of his March journey to the Equator when Scott leads a small group to the Galapagos Islands on behalf of Connecticut Audubon Eco Travel out of Essex, CT. Scott takes you underwater with sea turtles, sea lions and a myriad of fish as well as on the islands for a window into how life began with Land Iguanas and Marine Iguanas.
