Episode Description:

Mark and Jim start with the sex assault charges that were dropped against Dominique Strauss- Kahn, former IMF Chief. The seven-count indictment was dismissed because the DA says he could not be sure he was guilty after hearing repeated lies from the accuser Nafissatou Diallo.

In Constitutional Corner, Mark (www.marklawsf.com) and Jim discuss forfeitures that net both the innocent and guilty. More than four hundred federal statutes enable seizure of homes, boats, cars and cash totaling $2.5 billion.

The show concludes with the Department of Justice stalling AT&T’s T-Mobile takeover: a $25 billion deal on hold. The Feds claim T-Mobile played a valuable role as a scrappy competitor and challenged AT&T’s contention that the deal was needed for network capacity.
