Episode Description:

Dylan Voorhees of the Natural Resources Council of Maine conducts a bus tour to Mars Hill. At the time, the Mars Hill Wind Farm was the largest in New England. You will hear about alternate energy from Dylan and you will hear what the citizens of Mars Hill and the abutters of the wind towers think about wind energy. Mars Hill’s Town Manager compares harvesting the wind to harvesting potatoes. Reed and Reed, general contractor for the project will present photos and a description of the building of the wind farm.
