In this episode, host Martin Wasserman discusses possible future scenarios with two futurists. Futurist David Passig is an Associate Professor at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, where he heads the Graduate Program in Information and Communication Technology as well as the Virtual Reality Lab. He's written two books that were bestsellers in Israel, "The Future Code" and "2048". He's a frequent lecturer and consultant, and has a Ph.D. in Anticipatory Anthropology from the University of Minnesota. He discusses some of the driving forces that will most affect the future, including demographic changes.

Futurist John Smart is director of the Acceleration Studies Foundation, which is a foresight research organization in Mountain View, California. He’s cofounder of the Evo Devo Universe research community, an international community of scholars exploring evolutionary and developmental change. He’s also director of the Emerging Technology masters degree program at the University of Advancing Technology in Phoenix, Arizona. He has a master’s degree in future studies from the University of Houston and is a frequent blogger on futurist issues. He discusses possible technological futures, including transformations of humanity itself.
