Featuring: David Sollenberger - Video Producer

David Sollenberger has produced video productions for the Church of the Brethren since 1985. At that time he was stil working as a TV news reporter in Harrisburg, PA for Pittsburgh's KDKA-TV and Philadelphia's KYW-TV.

Featured in this edition of "Brethren Voices," David explained that his work as a news reporter often focused on crime and politics and he really yearned to share more in-depth stories of people, agencies and ministries that were making the world a better place.

David grew up in the Annville, PA congregationa dn eventually enrolled in Manchester College because it had a radio station. Graduating in 1975, David began a career the next day in radio and television news.

The Church of the rethren has grawn to appreciate his video productions featuring a wide variety of ministries including Brethren Volunteer Service and Brethren Disaster Ministries. Each year he produces an Annual Conference Wrap-up video. This program also provides a glimpse of "NOAC News," viewed by Frethren at the National Older Adult Conference. It also features rethren from acros the country who lip-sing the delightful and creative music video, "I want to See a New Day."
