Episode Description:

These two short shows are examples of what Grassroots Media can do. The corporate media barely covered these two events, yet these are the issues that are gaining momentum with the general public. Access TV will not deny the people's right to be heard.

1. Indigenous People's Day was celebrated at the University of Maine in Augusta while the main stream media focused on Columbus Day. any serious student of history will tell you that Columbus and the entire European cartel were extremely cruel to the indigenous people of this continent. The biggest lie of all was that the Europeans "discovered" what was to become the American Continent. In truth, this land was discovered thousands of years before by Native Americans.

2. Solidarity with Occupy America was displayed in Bangor on October 12th. Over a hundred activists gathered at Bank of America on Exchange Street to express their displeasure with corporate greed and overt militarism. Finally, Americans are beginning to discover the source of their woes.
